FitFuzion

Research / Design / Prototyping in Figma

Developing a high-fidelity prototype for a mobile application aimed at optimizing the well-being of gym enthusiasts through targeted enhancements and features.

Research & Testing

User Interviews & Affinity Diagrams

  • 5 user interviews on gym enthusiasts

  • Range of age, fitness intensity and gender demographics

  • Discovered gym enthusiasts often wanted to learn new activities and were very curious however didn’t have enough time in their weekly schedule to do so to increase their well being

Survey Research & User Persona’s

User Interviews & Affinity Diagrams

  • Google survey with 21 responses

  • Main user persona targets 20 - 30 year olds who want to work out and learn new activities however don’t have the time to whilst focusing on their career

Designing the Solution

Journey Mapping

To address gym enthusiasts specific needs and preferences. I decided to test the idea of encouraging more interaction with the app by adding:

  • Gamification such as awarding points for certain actions, like trying new activities or joining a club

  • Encourage learning new activities outside the users comfort zone by finding an exercise class different ways like class roulette or a quiz

Wireframes & Low fidelity prototypes

  • Wire frames strip away the visual elements so that when I user test the participants direct attention is to the apps functionality and flow of navigation

  • Low fidelity prototypes allow for valuable feedback so the product can be refined. One response claimed the chatbot was confusing so I developed this further for a more seamless user experience

Final Product - FitFuzion

The final product is a high fidelity prototype that has incorporated extensive user testing and feedback, catering specifically to the needs and preferences of gym enthusiasts.

FitFuzion is a class booking app which utilizes gamification, personalized recommendations, community engagement and a bold and quirky visual design to encourage users to explore new exercise classes they wouldn't’t normally come across
